Can we buy from what she's got or maybe some future commissions or something?!  Her art is REALLY worth it.

apparently theres something wrong with the port of my intous 5. 
it won't turn on at all when plugged in, and won't charge the battery for the wireless. 
neither of my intous 4's work [which is why i got a new tablet] and my intous 5 will only keep a charge for tops a few hours if i turn it on [its at 80% charge] , only enough time to finish MAYBE one commission.

and wacom wants about $76 to repair it.

so guess whos up shit creek without a paddle because technology hates her. 
-sigh-

i guess i'll start fiddling with my intous4's and see if i can't get one to at least turn on for a few minutes at a time. 
since if i send it in my '5 will be gone for probably longer than a week .___.

Not to mention the damn ER bill i'll be recieving soon.

     I call out to you all! There is an Japanese woman in my community who is suffering from Ovarian Cancer.  In an effort to show her how much we care and to lift her spirits, I am making as many of the 1000 cranes as I can. 
     Legend has it that if you do this without completing the wings and sew them together, the ill will fold the wings down every day with a prayer for healing.  When they fold the wings, a part (however small) of the pain goes away.
     Please, help me reach my goal.  If you can, send 10 traditional cranes or a packet of origami paper (5.9" x 5.9" or 6" x 6").  Include you DA name and I will feature you in my journal.  Thank you!!!
